|
R.F. Hauver is an artist whose travels have taken him to Africa, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, and the West Indies. It was on these journeys that he found the inspiration for his still lifes, landscapes, ethnic portraits and whimsical animal compositions. He has studied at the Art Student's League, the National Academy, Ringling School of Design, Grand Central Academy, and Atelier Miano, in addition to attending classes given by Alex Shundi and Laurel Stern Boeck. A bit of a Renaissance guy, he is also a songwriter/composer, whose music has aired on radio stations throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He founded Hudson Valley Records and HV Mixed Media, entertainment companies dedicated to promoting visual and musical artists from NY's Hudson River Valley, and also founded musical groups Full Moon Bay and Luminaria. |
