Dianne Vinopoll

I am the youngest of three girls, born to French Civil Engineer from Boston and a designer of hats from New York. Drawn to art as a young girl, drawing and painting, I put aside this interest when I married and became a mom at 18 years of age. At 23, I found myself the mother of four children with a floundering marriage. Out of necessity, I then started a career as a print model in New York. A few years later, I became a stylist for a prominent fashion photographer whom I later married. During these years, I also worked as a freelance photographer for Westchester Magazine and other Westchester-based prints. I enjoyed these years raising my now five children.

I finally have been able to get back in to my love of art since my retirement. Now every minute of my free time is devoted to learning and growing as an artist. Working with Alex Schundi has been an inspiration. Through my artwork I hope to capture the beauty I see, and to reflect the optimism I feel about this walk through life.

I am now a grandmother of 13 beautiful children and young adults and a proud parent to five very special small dogs.
